This is One UI 6???

I'd argue this is One UI 4.5

Similar to last year but probably even more this year little to nothing has changed

The slide down menu got a refurb and the weather app a lick of paint (the interactive map bit still missing and probably will never happen) and we call it one UI 6...

It seems Samsung just doesn't even bother anymore

Same phones each year same software..but more expensive

Whilst I might understand that hardware wise is difficult to come up with some new every year software wise the sky's the limit...

That's if you care to offer your users something...these minor changes aren't even worth a .4 to .5 generational jump

Samsung is lazy and probably ran out of ideas or doesn't have people to create something

The Samsung stock apps haven't changed much...the email app is the same it was 5y ago...it doesn't even support the dynamic theme...I mean have they gave up on it?? Then just remove it and stop the bloating...the weather app... this is the best they can do??? Wallpaper themes background... this is what they can do??? Jeez even HTC has better options at this point...no wonder people look at iPhone and think how can they do it and Samsung can't

Also this beta testing is 100% bug identifying no actual suggestions have ever been implemented

So all in all having been part of each beta since they came up with the one UI name...I'm starting to see why is called ones UI... because it's the same UI as it first was... nothings changed and nothing will

So stop making such a huge deal how the next iteration is some big upgrade...is embarrassing now for a company the size of Samsung that this is the best they can do?

And you know why this is... because instead of having 6 phones and making the 6 amazing phones they rather have 67 phones all mediocre and forgotten

Is it too much to ask people to be respectful...
I shared an opinion...if you agree fine if you don't fine...you don't need to be rude and condescending...I know what am talking about I've been a Samsung user and beta tester all my life...don't need some snarky comments about how I don't know anything...some pointed here very well is about expectations...and if new fonts and new music player is what matters the most to you than this is your dream update, but if you'd expect a bit more than just this yea is not really a generational jump...oh to that person saying I don't know how much has changed under the hood...please enlighten us...I know codes need to be rewritten but it's just copy pasting most of the previous codes ... either way keep it grown up and learn to accept others POV even if you don't agree...I encourage a debate but be respectful...at the end of the day I took the time to leave a more comprehensive comment which is more than many here do...

Fair enough but winging on here about iterative changes to the skin, when alot of the changes are under the hood (Anddoid 14) seems a bit meh.. If you dont think there are enoough chnages rather than complaining about it, and knowing it's going to get a negative response, propose stuff you want to see, missing features and any ideas you have etc, probably get a better response than a troll post.

I am sorry to hear that the current software isn't enough satisfying to you.

Personally I have noticed plenty of improvements from One UI 4.0 to One UI 6.0, and remember that the current Beta still isn't the official version of the software.

Samsung is constantly working hard to provide more improvements and release the best stable version possible.

If you can think of any ideas on how to further improve the software, I encourage you to post your suggestions in the "Suggestions" section, so that I can forward them to our team of developers.

Several suggestions including dynamic themes have already been passed on to Korea and are currently under consideration of our Development Team.

I hope you'll be enjoying the official version of the software 😊.

Personally, I find your original post disrespectful. You didn't need to buy this phone, and you didn't need to join the beta. The engineers are working hard and you have offered nothing constructive, just wall to wall criticism of their laziness or lack of talent.

and i find your reply to be disrespectful....guess you just have to deal with it just the way im dealing with you? whats disrespectful - that i have an opinion? and it's not all gloating about Samsung? how do you know they worked hard? they get paid to do this, like i get paid to do my job, and everyone else? the ONLY way something can get better is by having constructive criticism - which is what i just did - gave examples of bits that havent been looked at in ages, and pointed towards other OEMs that are doing some bits better 

what is disrespectful is you, thinking that just because you dont know me and never will, you can push me to a wall and spite me - because i had the COURAGE to post this - knowing some people will not like it

What an absolute ridiculous reply. The topic was about progression of One UI and in part Samsung innovation as well. Entitled to make observations and comparisons is not the same as your contextual entitled!

New here I just got a new phone with the ui 5 however battery is draining fast not lasting a day. Only 3 hours screen time a day. Any helpers want help out.
