This is One UI 6???
I'd argue this is One UI 4.5
Similar to last year but probably even more this year little to nothing has changed
The slide down menu got a refurb and the weather app a lick of paint (the interactive map bit still missing and probably will never happen) and we call it one UI 6...
It seems Samsung just doesn't even bother anymore
Same phones each year same software..but more expensive
Whilst I might understand that hardware wise is difficult to come up with some new every year software wise the sky's the limit...
That's if you care to offer your users something...these minor changes aren't even worth a .4 to .5 generational jump
Samsung is lazy and probably ran out of ideas or doesn't have people to create something

The Samsung stock apps haven't changed much...the email app is the same it was 5y ago...it doesn't even support the dynamic theme...I mean have they gave up on it?? Then just remove it and stop the bloating...the weather app... this is the best they can do??? Wallpaper themes background... this is what they can do??? Jeez even HTC has better options at this point...no wonder people look at iPhone and think how can they do it and Samsung can't
Also this beta testing is 100% bug identifying no actual suggestions have ever been implemented
So all in all having been part of each beta since they came up with the one UI name...I'm starting to see why is called ones UI... because it's the same UI as it first was... nothings changed and nothing will
So stop making such a huge deal how the next iteration is some big upgrade...is embarrassing now for a company the size of Samsung that this is the best they can do?
And you know why this is... because instead of having 6 phones and making the 6 amazing phones they rather have 67 phones all mediocre and forgotten
Wake up Samsung...

Have to agree with some points the original poster makes. Nothing to do with Samsung vs Apple, they are both more or less owned by Blackrock and Vanguard anyway (illusion of choice).

Expectation of some people is pretty low, seems the way of the world these days. I have been loyal to Samsung, but innovation on the software, aesthetics etc is underwhelming to say the least.

And after owning the Vivo X90 Pro Plus this year, their one inch sensor in my opinion wipes the floor, picture wise, so Samsung need to up their game. 200 megapixels vs a 1 inch sensor, I know which I prefer.

Since you have all these great ideas, why are you not in development?

There's plenty of great ideas that have been put forward since the beta started. Only the Pixel music player has been taken notice of. As far as I can see.
The one ui is still very dated sadly.

Lmao. This comment cracked me up. Everyone is ready to criticise but offer little in terms of innovative ideas themselves.

I love people that complain about fonts, then bang on about "animations". And what has a 1-inch sensor got to do with One UI?

I came from an iPhone Mini where the big improvements everyone loved were widgets!

Massive entitled whine-fest.

And also the S23 range was £50 cheaper this year. Would be nice though for Samsung to at least implement a vertical app drawer though

And which UI is so upto date looks wise?? Chinese software looks worse and never always works properly either as Google intended. If anything iOS looks 'dated'

What I'm using here looks friggin dated. The always on display etc looks the same as it did on my S9 plus.
