Hi,
I have a Samsung scx-3405 multifunction printer.
Just had the latest Windows 10 upgrade.
Printer working fine but when I runnthe Scan Assitant software, cannot do anything - scan,amend changes...
Have tried various drivers but no good..
Anyone have a possible solution to this please?

Was your software bundled with the MFP? If not, then try reinstalling but first removing and cleaning the system from the remnants of software, for example CCleaner.
You can also try to follow this instruction:
1) Remove the driver completely, turn off the printer
2) Restart your computer
3) Download the latest drivers from the official samsung website and install them
4) Turn on the printer and check that everything works
Also, some users who have encountered a similar problem recommend downloading the utility - hotfix_usb_win10_v1803, which solves the problem. I managed to find out this information from videos on YouTube in which the authors tell how to solve problems with the SCX-3405 printer step by step.
