When I turn on my computer and plug in the display port, it says no signal and shuts off after 3 seconds. I have contacted several Samsung support pros and followed their guidelines but got no results. Along with that, I noticed that no one else has a similar problem similar to mine. I believe I found the issue, but it's not fixable. I have an RTX 3090 with G-Sync on, which seems to cause problems for other people. Even when I factory reset the monitor to try and turn it off, it's ineffective. The other solution would be to switch the display ports or connect an HDMI port to the motherboard, but I have tried all of the possible options, and it doesn't work.
Edit 1: This happens to both of my monitors: individually or together.
Edit 2: Another solution is to replace your GPU, which might be faulty. That was my case.

First plug in your HDMI only, not your Display Port cable. Then plug in your Display port. Then press the menu button under front of monitor logo. Select left option 'Source' then select 'Display port 1' then then GPU should switch to the Display Port. Unplug your HDMI cable then close the menu.
Now check your GPU is up to date and then restart PC. All should be set and Display Port should be default

Have the same problem. Works with HDMI alone or with both HDMI and DP connected. when both cables are connected and I swith to DP then all icons on my desktop are gone. Am waiting for a new cable to see if that will fix my problem.
Was running fine in the beginning, 240hz and DP worked flawlessly. 2 days ago DP suddenly didnt work.
AMD Ryzen 7 5800 X3D, Nvidia RTX3060 and 850 watt PS, Samsung G7 32inch. All drivers up to date.

Has anyone solved this problem or are they just using the HDMI connection or just living with the problem?

@kenhaw some workarounds have worked for some but not others. You will have to read through the entire thread and try each one until you see what works for you (if any).
In my case, turning on auto-switch in the G7 monitor settings fixed an issue where the G7 monitor wouldn't load the screen at all. I also had to first unplug my Asus HDMI cable and plugin the G7 DP cable. Once the G7 DP works ONLY THEN can I plug in my Asus HDMI for both of them to work together (weird I know). Additionally, when my monitors go to sleep and upon waking back up, the G7 keeps all previously opened windows and my Asus doesn't. So I have to move previously opened windows back to the Asus monitor every time. It's annoying but I learned to live with it.
My setup: G7 (DP), Asus Pro Art (HDMI)

I stopped using HDR so that was the main issue with the toggling (black screen and random reset/refresh).
I also bought a certified DP cable because the one in the box looked rather basic and wanted to rule that out.
I cant say many issues had, however I am not changing settings much.
It would be good for Samsung to officially state what should be done when using the monitor and to acknowledge what known issues they are working on.
Most would probably be helped by Firmware update but they seem to not care about that.
