When I turn on my computer and plug in the display port, it says no signal and shuts off after 3 seconds. I have contacted several Samsung support pros and followed their guidelines but got no results. Along with that, I noticed that no one else has a similar problem similar to mine. I believe I found the issue, but it's not fixable. I have an RTX 3090 with G-Sync on, which seems to cause problems for other people. Even when I factory reset the monitor to try and turn it off, it's ineffective. The other solution would be to switch the display ports or connect an HDMI port to the motherboard, but I have tried all of the possible options, and it doesn't work.
Edit 1: This happens to both of my monitors: individually or together.
Edit 2: Another solution is to replace your GPU, which might be faulty. That was my case.

Hello, I just saw your post. I am having the same issue with an NVIDIA Quadro P2000 (laptop version) and a NVIDIA GTX 1070 (desktop version), and an Odyssey G5 monitor. The monitor will not be recognized by NVIDIA or Windows unless the monitor is set to 60 Hz when it is awoken from sleep. It will work fine at 144 Hz from there (has to be manually set). Did you find a solution to this problem?

Can you please provide the link to the Nvidia firmware update that addresses this issue? Thx!

There's a simple firmware update that fixes this? That would extremely helpful! If anyone has the link I would highly appreciate it!
I would need USA/NA firmware if that makes a difference, as I know this is an EU thread.

Hi,
Let me share my experience (G7 32, firmware 1011.0)
For me it's mostly about the cable: one $20 usbC - DP completely didn't work for two laptops (no signal), another one, $20 CableMa****s (I'm not affiliated with this brand) works fine for both laptops, including the automatic turnon of the monitor. PC/AV mode: PC, DP ver: 1.2
At the same time i have exactly the same issue as described by the topicstarter with my $20 HDMi-HDMi.
Sadly Samsung doesn't provide good support and we have to experiment by ourselves : /

UPDATE:
When I tested the monitor on my desktop PC using a display cable, NOT an HDMI cable, the waking-up issue did not occur. So it seems to be an HDMI issue, at least for me.

im a owner of a G7 32" LC32G75TQSRXEN that are working with a Acer predator XB271H.
Both are connected with DP ports directly to a Nvidia RTX 2070.
Problem is that when pc goes into sleep mode and im wakeing it up, the Acer monitor wakes up first, with all the windows moved to the Acer window. My setup are monitor 1(main) : Samsung, 2: Acer (extended).
Samsung monitor does wakeup after 10-20 sec, and after a couple off/on the windows comes to the right screen again. sorry for the bad explaining, but im not english. im using windows 11. fw on the G7 are the last one( 1011.0 )
I have tried every post i can find on the net regarding a solution, but im still stuck regardless of this non working fix.
Not using the cable that came with it. I bought 2 new DP cables that supports ver 1.4 and the firmware are updated as stated before. Firmware for my FE card is not available( nvidia haven't made a new one)
To better understand my issue look at the video; https://youtu.be/ziqXmBPQue8
Any other working solution?

Samsung needs to provide us with an updated firmware that fixes this issue. By the way, do you have auto switch enabled on your monitors settings?

Im sorry but we may have had different issues, as my issue went away when i used a display cable. Try getting a bug report with nvidia?

They do, and yes. When I switched to my desktop PC and a display cable, the issue went away. Must be something with the HDMI. Not sure though
