Dear all,

I am just wondering if it is normal, as my galaxy book tends to get kinda hot overtime, and I am not even using it heavily (just simply some internet browsing and playing videos online).

I have also noticed that air is coming out only on the right side of the laptop (red arrows):

Should I be expecting air to be coming out from each end of the laptop? As if I understand correctly it is a dual fan located in both ends? This as a result the left part of my laptop gets even hotter.

Thank you for your help!

I fixed this by doing the following: First, uninstall as many programs as you can and don't use in "add or remove programs" for example edge if you live in the EU. Exit apps that are not used such as phone link, edge, Samsung update, etc. (You find all open apps in "task manager"). You'll also want to turn performance mode to "high performance" and place it in your lap with your right leg a bit to the side so the single fan (which is on the right side) has zero obstruction, if not possible a flat surface is the next best. Together with a cool room, this should let your CPU boost for a relatively long time :smiling-face: If you need it to be extra cool for a short time consider not charging it. Also if you play games don't let it go beyond 60 fps and turn on vsync. All of this is done without needing a restart and if it doesn't solve your problem there might be physical dirt or more apps to remove.

About the computer being hot on the left side. That's where the CPU is which is rated for  100°C so you will most likely feel overheated before the computer takes any damage.
