After last two updates of Samsung Magician i can't change over provisioning partition size. Can't even delete it.

And now i have 528MB recovery partition which wasn't there before.

Please help.

@bolabuga wrote:

1 diskpart
2 list disk
3 select disk "x" (where x is the number of the disk you want)
4 list partition --> to see partitions
5 select parition x --> choose the recovery partition
6 delete partition override --> this will delete the selected recovery partition

You can, then, refresh overprovisioning, remove the unallocated overprovisioning, and configure it again, if you desire.

Thanks alot man

I am unable to set up overprovisioning in spite of having 20% of the drive specifically unallocated. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Same. It's been the same for ages. The diskpart trick doesn't work. Recreating and deleting a new OP doesn't work. 20% cannot be changed, cannot be cleared.

Alternative solution that works for me

1) Type “advanced system settings” in search bar.

2) On system properties, go to advanced -> performance, click “Settings…”

3) On performance options, go to advanced -> click “Change….”

4) On virtual memory, uncheck “Automatically manage paging file size for all device”

5) Select “No Paging File” -> click Ok then Apply.

6) Restart your pc.

7) Check if you can set custom OP now.
