First posting and in need of help please.

I used  samsung magician latest version used data migration to copy windows 11  from my crucial SSD to Samsung 990 Pro - and now I can't boot on the Samsung.

I did everything you're supposed to do, after data migration, switched the PC off, removed the crucial SSD. Changed the BIOS  in MSI Unify motherboard to m.2 ssd and I still get the same the error message "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key.

I'm going to lose so many products ans waste so much time  if  i have to reinstall windows 11 from scratch (Capture one for a start as I'm not on the current version). Any help in sorting out this problem would be greatly appreciated.

In case it helps anyone else switched "legacy + UEFI" to "UEFI" in the BIOS and the drive finally booted. Been struggling with this for about 6 hours!!!! The relief from fixing it yourself!

Samsung tool often skips the EFI partition. Reconnect Crucial SSD, boot into Windows, check if EFI exists on 990 Pro via Disk Management. If not, redo the clone with Macrium Reflect (free)  make sure all partitions are copied. Worked for me.
