Odyssey G9 49" Neo Screen Flicker / Strobing

Hi Guys,

Second day of using my new G9 Neo and I’m seeing a really annoying flicker/strobing effect at times that’s at its most obvious with games with a lot of static elements. I've also had this while using the PC for productivity uses, especially while on video calls. It seems like it’s dimming/brightening the screen very marginally but enough to make it noticeable and very annoying.

I've tired enabling/disabling HDR, switched off local dimming and changed to a different refresh rate. I'm using a RTX 4080 Super  connected via the Display Port. My previous office type monitors worked fine with the graphics card and didn't exhibit the same issue.

Does anyone have any idea what's wrong here? For the price, I expect it to be perfect!

Hi guys, I have similar problem, my monitor type is S49CG954SC by SAMSUNG, when the signal input stops, a white square will flahs in the upper right corner of the screen. The cable is a dp cable, and the refresh rate is set to 120hz or 240hz, setting it to 60hz will not cause this problem. I don't know why this is happening, I asked customer service and they didn't know either.
