I’m using a Samsung Odyssey G3 monitor and have recently encountered several issues. My external monitor occasionally experiences flickering and screen tearing, particularly in certain pixels. Just now, I experienced these problems again, and the monitor began to turn off and on by itself. Eventually, it started changing colors on its own, almost like it was running a dead pixel test. During this phase, there was no flickering or screen tearing.
After a few moments, the monitor resumed normal functionality, and everything appears fine now. However, I’m not sure what might be causing this issue. My laptop's internal display remains unaffected, and the problem only occurs with the external monitor.
Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated!
