I have a Samsung odyssey g7 1440p monitor and the display is not working on my ps5. It was working before (every day for over a year) and suddenly stopped working, the picture does not display. I know the ps5, the monitor and the hdmi cable all work correctly as they all work fine when connecting other devices. The monitor works when connecting to laptops, the ps5 works when connecting to other tvs and the hdmi cable works when connecting other things.
I think it is something to do with video output settings for 1440p, I regularly switch ps5 from a 4K or 1080p output tv to the monitor but cannot get to work anymore. PS5 doesn’t even display in safe mode on the odyssey now. I have tried combinations of disabling hdcp, 120hz, vrr etc when ps5 connected to a tv then switching the cable back to the monitor but no luck. Also updated to latest firmware for the monitor. Any other ideas?
