I bought SAMSUNG PRO Plus + Reader 256GB microSDXC (mb-md256kb/am) few months ago. The read speed is normal (160MB/s), but write speed is extremely slow (12MB/s) for large file. I try different format, different card reader, on different machines.

How can I fix this? I tried to request warranty service. It kept asking me to register the device, which is not possible. Card only has 12-digit serial number. Is there a simple replacement service? How can I request it? I did buy the card on Samsung official website.

I also need to know this for the same reason - except my card sarted out like this and is now unusable. This website is hopeless. I found one place whre it would accept the registration and when I reported the fault I got a reply from India saying I should contact my local support in the UK.

I just bought Evo plus micro sd card 256. The write speed is 53mbps while read speed is 60mbps. Where to report? And claim warranty?

If 'just' bought then return to place of purchase for replacement or refund. I had bought mine from Argos but it was 11 months old. I returned it to them and they reluctantly replaced it. This says you are covered for a as long as you own the device but then says 5 years???? It also contains a contact email. If your write and read speed are both low and about the same value I would suspect the device you are connecting it to. Just because the SD card says it is very fast, that is only true if your device can work that fast otherwise it will be as slow as the device. Have you tried it in something else to confirm?
