Good morning, to be able to play Marvel Rivals on my galaxy book 3 i7, 16GB the game requires an update of the graphics drivers and going to Samsung Update and then sent back to Samsung Device Care, it tells me that there are no updates available. I have already checked on windows update and optional updates but nothing about it. The only way I have to install it is through Intel's software (intel driver & support assistant), but the site also tells me: "Installing this graphics driver from Intel will remove customizations from your computer manufacturer (OEM)". I want to know how risky it is to install graphics drivers from Intel service and if Samsung can in case provide for the release of a new version
You can proceed safely as Samsung specific customisations won't be removed as you are using a recent generation graphics card.
"On your 6th Generation Intel® Processor platform or higher, your computer manufacturer customizations remain intact with each upgrade [ generic update from Intel ] and the OEMs can maintain customizations separately via Microsoft Windows Update."
It is a pretty safe procedure as I said. Intel takes stability very seriously. In any case creating a restore point doesn't waste any time but is useful to avoid time waste reinstalling the original one in the rare case something goes wrong.
