How can I stream audio files from my Note 10+ (or any android phone) to my Samsung Q90R soundbar? Does anyone has a working setup/ solution for this? And if so:
- What app do you use on your phone? At this moment only Spotify and Sonos offer in-app solutions for this it seems. This alone is worthy of a separate post, because why is this so difficult that only these and some other apps offer this? Because if you have other music files outside of these apps one cannot stream these via wifi…
- Do you use any other speakers in your wifi speaker setup? Mayby through a Sonos speaker streaming other music files outside of Spotify (of tidal or whatever streaming service) this is possible?
I know that streaming via Bluetooth is also possible, but i find the wifi connection is more stable when accessing/ playing music from another room as my house has many blind spots for a stable BT connection with the speaker...
At this moment I’m investigating the use of Google Chromecast V3 to maybe act as a hub? Will this maybe work or is this just noob thinking?
Personally I think it’s a missed opportunity from Samsung to make this more easy, but maybe I’m just not skilled enough to make this work. And is the solution for this issue is to be found somewhere else... please let me know!
Hopefully this will help others struggling with the same issue, because – as I stated above – why must this be such a pain to set up? And this is no accusation, but mere curiosity in this matter…
