How can I stream audio files from my Note 10+ (or any android phone) to my Samsung Q90R soundbar? Does anyone has a working setup/ solution for this? And if so:
I know that streaming via Bluetooth is also possible, but i find the wifi connection is more stable when accessing/ playing music from another room as my house has many blind spots for a stable BT connection with the speaker...
At this moment I’m investigating the use of Google Chromecast V3 to maybe act as a hub? Will this maybe work or is this just noob thinking?
Personally I think it’s a missed opportunity from Samsung to make this more easy, but maybe I’m just not skilled enough to make this work. And is the solution for this issue is to be found somewhere else... please let me know!
Hopefully this will help others struggling with the same issue, because – as I stated above – why must this be such a pain to set up? And this is no accusation, but mere curiosity in this matter…
Thanks for any assistance!

Hi @amb1975 Welcome to the Community! Have you tried using the Smart Things app?

I already use the smart things app, but not for playing music. The soundbar is registred in the smart things app as playback device in my wifi, but i was looking for an app - music app that is - to play my music stored on my phone to the soundbar through wifi. Is this possible with the smart things app only?
However, i did find the Samsung Music app. WIth this app i can select the soundbar as playback device. The app itself is very basic (no dark mode for instance), but is gets the job done: I can stream music files stored on my phone (not streaminsgservices) to the soundbar.
Still curious how other people managed to do this though... as i mentioned, the Samsung Music app is very basic and does not fit the bill for the preferred music player app on my phone...
