Hi everyone, I ran into a problem that the soundbar does not want to connect to 5GHz wifi networks, it sees them, but in the application it says that we can’t use it, while it seems like it uses 5GHz, does anyone encounter it?

In that case, it's probably best to speak to our dedicated AV Team, so they can go through advanced troubleshooting. You can call them on 0333 000 0333.

Hi @dain

Can you make sure that the soundbar's software is up to date? You can check how to do this on this link:https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/HW-Q90R/XU/

If this doesn't help, can you drop a screenshot here, of the error message you see in the app?

Good day. Yes, I have the latest possible firmware 1008 installed, screenshots of the error in the attached link, although they are in Russian, but in the application there is no way to change it. The error sounds "Your device can only use 2.4 GHz networks", all 5 GHz in the application are visible, but inactive.

Thanks for that.

Do you have a lot of devices connected to this Wi-Fi network? Can you try resetting it, and then connect the soundbar first to see if this makes a difference?

I even tried changing my home router, 3 more devices live on this network.
