Fault HW-990D

Hi guys, 

My 990D soundbar just disconnected from my Samsung tv and I got a message on my phone saying "hub offline" from Smart things, well it wasn't offline and has always been connected via HDMI eARC and not WiFi. 
The soundbar won't work or reinitialise and is stuck on HDMI eARC loop when I press the remote. I can't get into any settings on it.
 I've been online with a Samsung expert for 2hrs and they remotely connected but they were unable to fix it. 

It's 6 months old, Samsung are sending an engineer but I was just wondering if anyone else had this issue or knows a work around?

Loads of people around the world on various Q8xx and Q9xx Soundbars are having this problem. It seems related to an auto updated firmware 1020.

Mine Q800D is having the same issues as yours.

All I've read so far is that people who has been talking to support are asked to send their units in.
I've started a support-ticket and are waiting on Samsungs to get back to me. I'll suggest you start a ticket yourself to get this going.

Yea I've got an engineer coming out, after spending 2hrs on their chat.

Thank you for your reply. This is really concerning, my Q990D is only 4 months old and I've had no info from Samsung regarding this matter, I don't know what to do.....
