This is regarding my Samsung Freestyle Projector LSP3 (1st Gen, 2022). After the latest update, I can no longer edit the keystone for my projector, nor the scale & screen size. When I press the arrows on the remote to modify the keystone (as I used to), I can see the arrow on screen turning blue - registering that I am clicking it with the remote, however, nothing changes in the dimensions. The focus function works fine.
Troubleshooting I have done:
- Reset to factory settings : this changed nothing
- Checking for any new updates : there were none
- Charging remote
- Running self diagnosis tests
Anyone know a solution or encountered something similar?
Thanks
Audrey

UPDATE: as mentioned earlier, I had the same problem after a software update.
However, someone suggested a fix in another forum seemed to fix the problem for me. Essentially, I had to clean the lens of the projector, put the focus and keystone settings to "automatic", then point the projector to something close or far so it forces the projector to adjust focus and keystone. That seemed to get the projector working normally again / i could adjust keystone/scaling/focus manually again. The projector will occasionally start up with a different keystone from what i last set it to; however if I go to the keystone setting and press "down" it will snap back to the setting I normally use.
Hope this helps.

I still can't get mine to adjust the Keystone Automatic or manually. I hope they fix it soon.

Same here and there's still no new firmware update - how is this not fixed yet?

I have the same problem with my freestyle 2.gen device .
The auto keaystone function works sporadically. The manual keystone does not work at all. I called Sasmung 3 weeks ago about this . They said I have to wait for the update that was supposed to come out at the end of 2023.
Hiding the right and left sensors at the same time sometimes triggers the Auto keystone function.
To be honest I expected more from a Samsung product.... disappointing!

It is 100% disgraceful that a company of Samsung's stature has not pushed out a fix for their bug in over two months after introducing it. I feel bad for their obviously sub par engineering practices. I am sure it's fixed. They must have some sort of last century release process. It must feel bad to be on this team and bring the responsible engineer and seeing this stay unresolved for months.

Same feelings about this long-drawn incident. I requested supportive actions (request for firmware update) from Samsung's global support back office recently, also appended link to this topic. Let's see how long they will keep us waiting.
