I’m reaching out for support regarding ongoing issues with my Samsung Freestyle Projector, purchased on 31st December 2023 for £569.05 . Despite being under warranty until 31st December 2024, I’ve encountered continuous problems with the product and the service I’ve received.
Here’s a summary of the issues I’ve faced:
June 2024: I had difficulty booking a repair through the website due to technical issues. After numerous calls and a visit to the Samsung Store in Kings Cross, I finally arranged a repair. However, DPD failed to collect the item on two occasions without attempting proper contact. I ended up paying for postage myself to send the product back.
Repair and Return: The projector was returned after an alleged battery fault repair. However, it came back with new issues, including overheating, disruptive noises rendering the audio inaudible, and signs of unsafe operation that could potentially be dangerous.
Missed Collection (1st December 2024): Raised issue to CEO email, I was told the projector would be collected for repair on 1st December 2024 between 08:00-18:00, but the courier never arrived. Despite emailing for clarification, I’ve yet to receive a response.
At this point, I’ve lost confidence in both the product and the service process, and I’m asking for either a full refund or a replacement product that is free from the issues I’ve described.
Any guidance or advice from the community would be greatly appreciated.
