Hi and Merry Christmas.
Firstly, I will caveat my response with the fact that I do not own one of these, and nor am I am expert in projectors. I am simply another consumer and passing on some engineer judgement.
USB -C to USB-C cables are a fairly generic thing. The cable itself is just sending the signal and power, and although some might have a different 'current carrying capacity' ... I think that so long as you use the same genuine power brick then it is a low risk.
If you have another similar cable around then personally I would use that, as a debug to see if it is the root cause of the power issue. Or get an amazon delivery when available... I don't see the cable compromising or risking the hardware.
A cheap power brick on the other hand, with a different power rating, would be a higher risk, so i would avoid using a different plug. Some lower quality ones will likely supply less than the required current for the unit.
