(S60D S-Series 5.0) as back speaker ?

Is it possible to repurpose this sound bar to use as speakers at the back of the room instead I'm purchasing a better speaker and woofer for the front.

Would be nice, probably not as the software is not designed for this connectivity type of use.

If you have an av receiver and it has just a standard speaker cable input maybe... but as most don't have that input now I'd probably say not. The soundbars are too smart for them to be repurposed as a dumb rear speaker.

I would say so put the money into one with a sub and rears

Yeas already have a sub just didn't have rears

If its a new soundbar you have these might be an option they are wireless (kind of power cable and cable to each other) and they link to the newer soundbars.

Most definitely. And purchase the 5.1 or 7.1 system.

I ended up getting the Q800D with a 5.1 setup. It works great, thanks, all!
