So I have a recently purchased 65” qn90a tv. I’ve been using it a old LG soundbar via optical port with no issue.
Received a Samsung q700a soundbar for Christmas, but it won’t connect via eARC. It will connect via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or optical, but I cannot get eARC to connect.
I have updated firmware on both sound bar and tv. I have disconnected ever hdmi cable except for the cable going from the tv eARC port to the sound bar. The tv will not recognize the sound bar via hdmi cable. I’m using the hdmi cable that came with the Samsung q700a sound bar, but the tv won’t register that the sound bar is plugged in the hdmi port
