Q600c connection issue

Hi All,

We just purchased this soundbar. Everything is connected as it should be and it works. However when I turn the tv on and the soundbar automatically turns on it goes to TV Arc but not sound comes out. 
I need to turn the soundbar of for 10-15 seconds before turning it back on and the sound works. Sometimes I have to turn it off and on, on the actual soundbar for this to work and not the remote.

Obviously I just want to turn the tv on and be good to go.
Had a Samsung sound bar previously and never had an issue with it in 5 years(until the cats knocked it off system too many times). 

 

appreciate any help.

I would disconnect it all, and start again, but pair the sub before connecting the hdmi. I set it to bluetooth, after having sound issues to start. Then select d.in which is arc. This may help. Also check settings on TV are set to bitstream for output. One question, is your TV arc or eArc, because for Samsung eArc, the TV sound can be set to Atmos for this bar. Good luck.
