Hi, I've just bought the MU8000 and am unable to connect to my Samsung soundbar via spin connect. On audio section I only have TV internal speakers, optical out or Bluetooth:
wireless speaker connect is also greyed out and there is no section that says sound connect??
how do activate it please

I have the same issue with the mu8000 65inch. I bought this tv to replace last year's model SUHD, which did have the soundconnect option (my son cracked the screen). Why they discontinued this feature, IDK. Could be they want us to upgrade to a new soundbar. I connected the soundbar through the fiber optic but I loose the functionality of controlling the volume through the samsung remote. I am trying to connect through BT but have no success with that yet. Samsung really dropped the ball on this. Wish it could be fixed through an upgrade.
*EDIT*
So I just figured the work around. Connect the soundbar to the tv with the fiber optic cable and also connect the hdmi cord to the soundbar and tv. I then hit the source button on the soundbar to hdmi, it then auto sourced itself to D. IN. This allows you to control the volume with the samsung remote or through your samsung phone. The tv sound setting should automatically set to receiver HDMI. You will loose remote functionality if you set it on audio out/optical. On second thought, you may not even need to connect the fiber optic but I have mine connected anyway, cant hurt. The soundbar also powers on and off with the Samsung tv remote when using the HDMI connection. BOOM! Hope that helps.
