HW-q70t compatible with swa-8500?

I know that the information available says that the new for 2020 HW-Q70t soundbar requires the swa-9000s satellite speakers, but does anyone know if HW-Q70t will work with the swa-8500s model speakers?

@greenapple: The SWA-8500s speakers are no longer available on our website in the UK, with the 9000s speakers being the next model in the range. As you have seen, the 9000s speakers are recommended for the Q70T soundbar, so these are the ones you should go for, however as the 2 sets of speakers are pretty similar you should be able to pair the 8500s without issue.

I got SWA-8500s from USA for my Q800T and it works perfectly. You don’t need any step-down converter as these rear speakers are dual voltage and works with 110V as well as 230V power supply.

Hooked them up to my q70t soundbar and even if they connect, no sound comes out the speakers. Went back to the 9000 and it worked again....
