I've just this week purchased a new q90 soundbar
ive currently got it attached to a LG tv 4-5 year old through arc
ive also version 3 sky q box delivered today
I've a new 4K firestick
and an earlier xbox1 attached
I've tried Netflix on all mediums and can not get atmos to work
I've tried a atmos Blu-ray via Xbox has no sound unless playing through standard
ive done the firmware updates for tv and sound bar and also tried connecting direct to soubdbar
the Xbox does appear the closest to achieving atmos as in it says atmos on the Netflix title but when you play its silent all other mediums like firestick are just showing Dolby digital
I've also seen on forums some people saying that Dolby atmos appears on the sound bar display !! Is this correct I get nothing on my display showing the output I.e Dolby digital Dolby atmos Dts etc. I only get the basic hdmi info then after a short period it goes blank
id much appreciated some help with this as I'm starting to think I've a dodgy machine ??
