Hi
This may be an old topic but I can't find anything on the search, my blu-ray player, a BD-H6500, doesn't play blu-ray discs, starts loading then drops the signal so the tv just shows the no signal message, turning the player off and on again gets the signal back.
It'll play standard DVD no problem and the blu-ray discs work in other players, anyone else had this and found a solution?
discs are Rogue One and Last Jedi.

Hi @JustinR, check you have the latest firmware though may well be the case as nothing that recent https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/2014-3d-blu-ray-disc-player-h6500-series You could try resetting the Player to see if that makes any difference , whether it to be System Reset, Smart Hub or Factory Reset https://support-us.samsung.com/cyber/popup/iframe/pop_troubleshooting_fr.jsp?idx=549721&modelname=BD... You will also find info in this thread (even if was in connection with other player) https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/TV-Audio-Video/Blu-Ray-disks-stopped-playing-after-watching-DVD/... Of course possibly may need to contact Samsung.

Thanks for the response, it was good to have some options to work through as it made me go back to basics and test the cable. I foolishly thought that because it was playing DVD it couldn't be the cable.
I was wrong and now know that if the cable isn't up to the job it'll drop the signal on my blu-ray & TV combo

Good you have found a solution, even if it turned out to be something more straightforward.
