Link PC to BD-H6500 Blu-ray Player

I've got my BD-H6500 player networked successfully to my PC. I go looking for video, audio and picture folders. The TV screen shows Multimedia>Network device>'PC name'>Shared Contents when the screen shows icons for Upper folder, Video, Audio and Image. If I select Video I get a screen of icons for Upper folder, date, earliest, latest etc. If I select any of these, rather than showing a list of file names it simply loops back to Upper Folder.  I've got File sharing turned on in Windows 10. What am I missing?

how did you get this far? I have my BD-H6500-ZF linked to my home router, it is seeing internet, but when I go into multimedia > add pc all I get is some animation about installing samsung link...but the link provided does not work
