@Nicki : Please can you confirm the model number of your TV, located on the sticker on the back of the device? Furthermore, do you have a USB storage device connected to the set and, if so, what type is it? Is the TV functioning as expected other than the Timeshift error?
In the meantime, please try pressing the holding the Power button on your remote until the TV restarts to see if this helps. Alternatively, try powering off the TV, unplugging it at the wall for 30 seconds, then plugging it back in and powering on using the remote.
No USB in tv the remote only works until the error message comes up then the remote stops working I have unplugged tv and it’s not fixed it neither has putting new batteries in the remote
@Nicki : Thank you for clarifying that for me. To troubleshoot the issue, please temporarily disconnect all external devices from the TV, including the LED lights. The message you're seeing suggests that the record button is being pressed on the remote, and the flashing standby light may be the result of a persistent signal from the remote. With this in mind, to ensure that the issue isn't stemming from an accidental button press, please try checking the remote to see if any of the buttons are sticking, or try removing the batteries from the remote while you're watching a program. Let me know how you get on.
do it seems better this afternoon. I’ve ordered a new remote. There doesn’t look to be any buttons stuck down however I’m not sure which button is the record button on remote
