About 1 month ago I started to experience white spots on the left and right edges of my TV. These have progressively got worse over time to the point where they make the TV unwatchable. This problem seems to be quite common with these models:

Does anyone have a fix outside of getting a screen repaired (which doesn't seem to be possible now)? I'm out of warranty and spent £1800 on this TV only 2 years 5 months ago...
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Hi Nick24,
Just wondering if you had any further progress as I have exactly the same model and exactly the same problem.
‘And my TV is exactly the same age. Very strange.
This does seem like a common fault.
Thanks

Same here.
TV Set (a €2.200 one!) is turning 3 years old and started noticing mainly with white and light colors some light bleed/spots on the left bezel. Now it has severals spots on both left and right bezels and I am afraid it will get worse. With solid colors, dark grays and so on is sadly noticeable.
Were you able to find some guidance on how to solve this or some support from Samsung in line with a 9000 series (cutting edge in 2015) TV?
Regards,
PF

I have attached pic. Clearly visible bleed on left edge. Right side is not that bad as left is but visible as well. I was trying to ignore that for 1 year but now is really annoying. Is getting worse and worse.

Hi All. Apologies for late reply in this thread. In the end I exchanged my set for a different model. The feedback I got was that there were no replacement panels for my current UE55JS9000 model so they could not repair.
I was not under warranty so initially Samsung would not cover it. However, after finding someone higher up the support chain I was able to eventually get a replacement sent to me as a one off gesture as this appears to be a known issue.
My recommendation would be to try contacting support and escalating the problem. If you're still under warranty I would try and get a replacement as this seems to be a recurring issue that can't be fixed.

Hi Nick24,
Do you have any contact details please.
Mine is now in watchable & keep getting fobbed off.
Thanks.

I live in Lebanon in the middle east and I bought js659000 in 2016 for $4200. I noticed some bleedings when I purshased it but I didn't give it attention. Now, and after 3 years, things are going worse and I can see bleedings from both left and right sides of the screen even in some bright not dark scenes .
REALLY SHAME ON YOU SAMSUNG.
I'LL SHIFT TO SONY SINCE IT IS MORE RELIABLE THAN YOU.
SAMSUNG YOU HAVE TRICKED US TO BUY SUCH AN EXPENSIVE UNIT TO DISCOVER LATER THAT WE HAVE BOUGHT A TRASH.
HOW COME YOU DECEIVE YOUR LOYAL CLIENTS, I MYSELF BEING ONE OF THOSE *****S, WHO USED TO BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS AROUND YEARS???!!!!!
