Sorry for your issue you're facing.
Light bleeding from sides its not fire hazard, as its called backlight bleeding, if you think it might cause fire immediately unplug your tv and stop using it.
Overheating might be one, it really depends on how hot it becomes, as I've mentioned if you sure you're tv is malfunctioning unplug it and stop using it also, Best to reach out to customer service or DM
