WhatsApp Contact details not syncing from the phone to the watch

Hey guys, has any one experience a problem in WhatsApp after the new wear os update. After I updated mine for some reason my WhatsApp contact details whenever I call someone the contract details which saved doesn't show up on watch just the number but on the phone it shows. I have a Samsung S22 Ultra linked to my samsung galaxy watch 4 classic with wear os version 4.0 and system version 13

@Dragonmaster64: I noticed that you had sent me a PM regarding this issue, but thought that it would be best to reply publicly for visibility purposes. If you have recently updated the Watch4 OS, then you may wish to check for any available updates for WhatsApp itself, to see if this helps. On the Watch itself, head to App > Google Play Store > Scroll to the bottom of the page > Manage Apps, and any available updates will be visible here. Furthermore, on your phone, head to Settings > Apps > WhatsApp > Permissions, and make sure that 'Contacts' is allowed. As a basic troubleshooting step, try restarting your phone and Watch to address any temporary software issues that might be a contributing factor. Let me know how you get on.

I did try to restart and even factory reset my watch, also i have checked all permissions but it didn't do anything

Still no fix on this issue? Curiously my wife's watch is still normal, I have the 44mm and she's 40mm. The only way the contract name would show up is  to save the number without the "+" sign. Unfortunately that's too much of a hassle if you have more than 10 contacts.

I have galaxy Watch 6 classic and Galaxy S23 Ultra. From the time I got watch my new contacts are not shown in WhatsApp and vice versa. I mean when I delete a contact in my phone contacts , it is still in WhatsApp contacts.

Same problem here.

Initially,  when I bought my Watch 5, WhatsApp displayed the name of the caller but now it only shows the phone number. This problem has been going on for a long time already (more than 6 months). I REALLY hope Samsung will take this problem a bit more seriously and fix it.
