Watch 6 - lock screen

Hey community. 

So following the system suggestions to add a pattern, password or pin to the lock screen, I chose a pattern thinking this would be easier with my memory. 

Boy was I wrong!! I have made so many attempts that the security wait time has increased to 24hrs.

Is there a way to override this and still confirm I'm the owner?

The watch will go in but no longer connects to my mobile.

You may need to factory reset the watch unfortunately @Coco_Bfly

If you forgot your Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 pattern, you can reset your watch to factory settings. This will erase all data on your watch, so you'll need to set it up again. 

Steps to reset your Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 

1. Go to the Find My Device website on a computer
2. Sign in to your Google account
3. Select your watch from the list of devices

• Click Erase data

• Confirm the erasure

• Verify your Google account

• Confirm the erasure again

• The reset process will begin

• Set up your device again using your Google account

You can also try resetting your watch by putting it into recovery mode. 

Steps to put your Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 into recovery mode 

• Press and hold both side buttons until the Samsung logo appears

• Release the buttons and press the home button twice

• Scroll to Recovery using the home button

• Press and hold the home button to select Recovery

• Wait for the watch to reboot into recovery mode

For future use, the pin, the new update, makes it easier to enter your pin.

And just wait for your 24 hours to be over and don't mess up your attempt for signing in, or else it will be a much longer wait.

Hi @BandOfBrothers. So I did this, but am unable to add back to my Samsung account?
Go through the set up process but does not go beyond choosing the country I am in 😒. I think I need to try on a laptop.
