could you specify what mobile phone and earbuds are paired to the Watch, specifically?
In the meantime, I suggest you to verify periodically for new updates of Whatsapp.
Nevertheless, also check updates for the Watch 4 via Wearable and for the App itself through Galaxy Store.
NB: if you are an italian customer, as it seems to appear based on a previous post of yours, you can write in italian.

ti ringrazio per le precisazioni.
In questo caso, siamo già a conoscenza della situazione da numerose altre segnalazioni.
Abbiamo già appurato come l'anomalia sia in capo a Whatsapp, e che il relativo team software vi stia lavorando per rilasciare un fix. Allo stato attuale, occorre attendere un loro riscontro.
