Samsung watch 7 Bluetooth version -
I am NOT able to use it for calls / working for media.
Bluetooth headset connected to Watch & Enabled permission for both "Phone calls" and "Media audio".
But ONLY working for media, not for "Phone calls."

Sometimes, as Bluetooth tends to automatically pair to its last device, if it is already connected to another device then it causes some conflicts with the passing of the audio data stream.
Perhaps as troubleshooting you can ensure any other devices that this headset automatically pairs to are switched off for Bluetooth, to avoid any clashes.
Do a 'clean turn on' of the headset and allow it to connect with all other devices turned off. See if the audio stream now works ?
If not then you can add some detail of what headset you use ?

Hi ,
Thanks for the response.
Earphone model is -- soundcore by Anker, AeroFit Open-Ear Headphone.
The device is already connected to my watch.
All media (whatsapp, etc) and notifications are coming to the earphone except the phone calls (inbound/outbound via Watch).
In the Bluetooth setting, I enabled both "phone calls" and "Media audio.".

There are options to reset the headphones to see if it helps, and also re-pair.
I am not familiar with the headphones, and wonder if they support a multi-device connection... only some do at present.
The one thing I would try is to ensure the headphones are not connecting the voice audio to your phone and which then block the watch connection.
Actually as a further question, Is your phone samsung as well ?

My Phone is Samsung S22 Ultra
If i understood correctly , The media from the watch to Bluetooth is working fine.
But the calls are via phone, as my watch does not have LTE, & that call stream has to go from Bluetooth earbud to watch, then to phone, which is NOT happening.
The Earbuds are working perfectly with my Phone directly.
I tried re-paring as well, but luck, and it is now connected ONLY to my Watch.

If you receive a call without the headphones connected then you can talk directly to the watch microphone, but this is of course not needed if there is a valid connection between buds and phone... you just talk into the headphones.
In my tests, I am however using either buds 3 pro, or buds 2 pro... so there may be differences with third party headphones and the handling of the Bluetooth data stream.
I am a little confused what you are trying to achieve. If the phone and watch are connected together and the buds are connected to the phone, then the watch is only being used to control the call start, and audio is sent between phone and earphones... I.e. there wouldn't be any need to stream directly between watch and headphones ?
Have you ever connected the headphones directly to the watch without the phone... i.e for music streaming without the phone in the connection ?
If so, can you try deleting and forgetting the Bluetooth connection between the headphones and watch and try again ? Just as a debug...

I have the same problem. It seems like the person trying to help you was absolutely clueless. Did you ever find out the solution. Thanks!

To those with this problem I did find one thing that helps. Turning off the BT connection between the your watch and phone. Doing this allowed using my headphones to hear and speak over my watch during phone calls. It is not a perfect solution, but it worked.
