Recently my samsung health walks (started manually on watch) aren't showing maps... samsung health has location permissions and says its using it but won't show where i went on workout history, any ideas why?
Hi and welcome to the forum. Do you have location turned on on the watch? Might be worth double checking in case it accidentally got turned off. Gonto settings on the watch and scroll down to location.
Thats interesting, I've noticed on my watch Health services is allowed to access the location all the time. Can see that by going into location on the watch and clicking on app permissions
One other thought, you could try going into the samsung health app on the phone, go into the app settings, click on location information and make sure Google Map platform is enabled
Ah I am on One UI 7 so may be its different. Are you on One Ui 6.1? If so look for a Provide Location Information option in the settings of the Samsung Health app on the phone. I think the option to enable the Google Map Platform may be in there.
If that doesn't work one other suggestion is to try clearing the cache of the Samsung Health app on the phone
Hi on that second screen shot there was a Location Information option, have you tried tapping on that option (rather than toggling it), you might find the Google Map Platform option in there
