Real reviews from Samsung Watch 3 Users on this forum...

Having watched quite a few online reviews... some contradictory... I am interested on those users that are willing to offer advice based on your experiences.  

Particularly...

Battery Life.   Are the online reviews correct with their estimate of less than 2 days battery life ?  Do you have to charge your watch every night, in case it dies halfway through day 2 ? 

Heart Rate monitor.  How good is this actually in your experience ?  Can you get accurate data during daily wearing usage and exercise ?    I actually have a heart condition and an implanted ICD device and the accuracy is very important to me, to be able to monitor my HR regularly during the day.  

I guess these are the two issues from what I have read and watched in videos.   I also feel that if you need to charge the watch daily, it means certain functions such as sleep tracking is pointless... if you cant wear it while it is charging every night then the sleep functions are somewhat void.  

I would appreciate any comments from your own usage experiences ?

I like this watch in concept... perhaps i might wait to see what the 'watch 4' has to offer in terms of improvements when it is released... perhaps in August / September.

I have just ordered the Galaxy Watch 3... Couldn't resist, as currently Samsung have £100 off and have also now thrown in a triple wireless charger for free as of yesterday...

pretty good deal. it also seems the new software update for ECG and BP is imminent or already available.

Hopefully should have it in the next day or two.

I get 3 days of battery life on my watch 3. Don't get me wrong, on the morning of the 3rd day my battery is at around 18% but it's enough to get through the third day. My watches heart rate monitor is consistent with my Omron M7 blood pressure monitor and so no complaints there either.

I have received my watch 3 today... just familiarising and liking it so far 😍

I wondered on which software you have on yours at the moment. mine states up to date with the version attached.

I heard a rumour that the new update for ECG and BP was now available.

Which version software are you running ? Have you received the new update in UK ? 🇬🇧

There hasn't been an update for the Watch 3 for a few months now. 

I purchased mine from Argos here in the UK and it's running software version: R840XXU1BTK1

Here is mine screenshot, but I am from Slovakia, so I have Slovak version. No updates for months...

Ps. I downloaded ECG and Blood Pressure monitor unofficially, it is easy to install, I can provide you with the apks if you want, and it is working great. But there should be an update in the following weeks, maybe months...

Thanks for reply.  No problem at all...it seems we are same region from the codes, and the same version BTK1.

I will wait for the official release rather than side loading from APKs... i have read that it should be very soon anyway...
