Offline maps navigation Watch 4

When will Samsung galaxy watch 4 get offline maps navigation, meaning you can navigate using maps without tethering to an android phone??? Should have been there from the start like Garmin wearables!

Would you like to use the navigator with the Watch without connecting to the smartphone?

In case you were referring to the use of the Maps app, I confirm that currently, the Google Maps app, since it is a plugin, has to work with the support of the mobile device in terms of loading the mapping and for navigation.

For more information regarding this WearOS feature, I invite you to request more information from Google.

I .referring to off line maps navigation without support from mobile.

Not Italian but for some reason samsung members attached to Italian group.

When.is standalone maps app for watch going to be available.

Additionally, Kilburn revealed that Google Maps will work offline on Wear OS watches. You don’t need to connect your wrist wearable to a smartphone for navigation directions. It will work independently, even if you leave your phone at home. Currently, you can’t use Maps navigation on your watch if it’s not connected to a smartphone.
