My phone isn’t properly connected to my galaxy buds

I’ve had so much trouble with connecting these in the past since my buds constantly cut out when they were at a distance with my phone. I had to hold my phone close to my chin for them to work properly.


I called Samsung and was sent a replacement, and I’m having the exact same problem. I’ve connected my buds to other devices (my iPad, my mums Samsung phone which is a much more recent version than mine) and I’ve had no problems.

 

My phone (Samsung S6 Edge +) seems to be causing the bad connectivity, but I have no idea what to do next. Is there any way I can get it fixed?? My buds are still under the warranty.

the S6 is a very old device this is probably the problem

the galaxy buds were made more for the S10 S20 series

I was never told this when buying them, and unfortunately we don’t have enough money to throw away on a new phone. Is there anything I can do to improve my phone at all so I can use them with the buds?? If not there’s probably no point in owning these. I want to use them with my Samsung phone, not my iPad.
