This doesn't work. if your left bud can't even connect to the Wear App, you can't reset it.

Take out right earbud and charge thew case with left one for about 10 minutes(disconnect them from the phone tho), then put the right earbud back.

Open the case, hold down on the bud that still works while both buds are in the case, keep holding down on it til the light in the middle flashes from green to red, close the case and keep closed for about 10 seconds. It worked for me.

This was absolutely the solution! Thank you so much. I was losing my mind because I bought it from Amazon but this fixed the issue instantly. Mine needed to charge for a minute but other than that good to go.

Thanks so much!

I couldn't connect my left bud for the longest time. Left Bud kept showing 'Disconnected'. I tried one of the suggested method here. Unpaired the bud from my phone. Switched off the bluetooth. Took out the right bud from case which was ok. Put the left bud only in the case and kept adjusting it till the middle shows red to allow it to charge. if it turns green adjust again to show red. Once it shows red (without immediately turning to green), i left it charging (case open with just the left bud in the case).  Charged it for 1 hr with case open.  After an hour, I switched on the Bluetooth on my phone and reconnect the buds and it worked. Bud shows connected, both sides. I was able to update the software too as both are connected now.

t's a pairing issue.  This happened to mine and nothing I did worked.  I tried lots of different steps for a week.
This Einstein worked out how to fix it.  Go to https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/wearables/left-earbud-not-working/td-p/1618264/page/4 and scroll down to user  Praful_Menon (about 6 down).  He gives you the steps to fix it.

This worked for me. In the Galaxy wearable app, after the last update, there was an option called 'Seamless earbud connection'. When I turned this off my left ear bud came back alive. Please let me know if this works for you.

SOLUTION: My left ear bud volume remained extremely low no matter what I did. I followed all the suggestions on this thread. Here's what worked:

Take off the rubber. Put the bud in between your lips and suck. I literally sucked on the ear piece and out came a bunch of wax that cannot be seen. It apparently gets into the bud through the tiny holes in the silver gasket. I was extremely surprised at how much wax came out.
