This worked for me. I thought I was going to have to buy new ear buds. The firmware must be confused as the app is showing 100% charge. I assume the rapid in out has the effect of triggering some sort of reset in the firmware on the bud.
Thank you for this.

OK, me too. Left ear bud. Tried the pull-out, put-in 10x technique but to no avail. I tried cleaning all metal contacts, so I did the ear buds and the terminals on the case. When I turn Bluetooth off, wait a bit, then do a RESET using the Wear app, the left bud usually starts working again. Sometimes after 30 min or so the noise cancelling stops and the app again tells me that the left bud is not connected. If I go thru the whole Reset process again, it usually starts working again. But then, the next day I'll go to use them again and the left ear bud might or might not work correctly. I like the earbuds generally, and so I'll give it another couple of days. Software is updated, charge is full. I've had these for about 3/4 of a year and I've lived them up until now.

Hi, I am currently dealing with this same issue and I saw that a few years ago you were too- did you ever figure out how to fix it?

Yes - I fixed it. It was as described above. You have to put the one silent earbud into the charger for about 1 second so the light flashes green for a second. Then take it out. Repeat this a few times. It sort of gives the battery in the earbud a boost and tells it to charge. Then you can put that one earbud in the charger for a few hours and hopefully it will be charged. The other thing is that when you put both earbuds in your ears, one of them will always be silent. So you have to press on the power switch for that earbud for a moment, and it will say "Power on" in your ear. For some reason, the power is always off on one earbud when you take it out of the case and connect to Bluetooth. I hope this helps! - Mike
