It's on charge and I suddenly had a notification on my phone. I haven't installed it - or ever heard of it - so what gives? Reddit tells me it's a Korean chat app... Not that useful to me in the UK if I'm honest. My Korean isn't great.

Anyone else? Or have I inadvertently agreed to some chat app experiment whilst asleep? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Unexplained self-loading apps are always going to cause concern, plus wasted time while you work out whether aoanything harmful is happening to your device. Kakao Talk seems to be aimed at teenage girls. As an elderly male I wonder how Samsung see this app as "essential" to me.

Yes thats just happened to me. I uninstalled it and gave a bad review on Google play. Thought it was very dodgy. I'm a bit worried now how something could be installed without my say so. I've had my watch for ages and my phone too and hadn't installed any new apps for quite a while.
