Sudden drop in battery life

The battery life on my Watch 4 Classic has suddenly dropped from about 39 hours to 29. I haven't changed any settings or installed any apps. My pattern of use is the same as it always was, so why have I lost 10 hours? I've tried the usual fixes, reset and clearing the cache partition with no effect. Any suggestions?

Definitley check the battery health in the members app.

The battery will deteriorate over time as it does not have an infinite amount of charging and discharging cycles. 

A reset may help. 

A Samsung Service Centre can assess your watch if necessary.

OK, without me changing anything on the watch, or installing any new apps or faces, the battery life has crept back up to 39 hours...go figure!
