I have watch 5 and over the months I have noticed that my Vo2 max on Samsung health is decreasing every day when I brisk walk. It started off with vo2 max 42.7 now its 34.6. Anyone having this problem??

I got insane drop in my VO2 max score. Also on the 5th Gen of Galaxy Watch. Luckily I have a strap monitor and a watch from another brand. That's enough Samsung for me, I'm switching. Maybe the hardware is decent, but they just can't make good apps.

I'm doing 10,000 steps a day at a fast rate and doing this 5 days a week minimum and mine has now dropped to the point where it's reading poor. Decided to just ignore it in all honesty.

Hello. My age is 40 years old. A year ago, my VO2Max began to drop sharply monthly from 45 and reached 41 in March 2024. It has now risen to 42. At the same time, I do weekly cycling sports at the recreational level. Skiing in winter, cycling and running from April to October, + roller skis. GW error - incorrect heart rate count. At my working pace, it shows an anaerobic zone heart rate of 150+, although I am comfortable with this and can spend 1.5 hours of training in this zone without consequences.

I have the same issue. I am in my best shape in my whole life and walking and cycling everyday. Yet my VO2 Max is around 36 and going down as well...

Samsung watches are nothing but a bad joke for vo2max. Inaccurate as hell and useless. Use other trackers with chest band to get more precise results.

Same here, I started Couch to 5k programme in March '24 using cheap Oppo phone, Huawei Health app and Honor Magic 2 watch. My initial readings for VO2Max were around 31 and over the last 6 months of regular training increased to 39-40 - that was expected with the chronologically increased intensity of runs (from Poor to Average for my age & condition). Then 2 weeks ago I got Galaxy S24 Ultra and a Galaxy Watch 6 and my VO2Max decreased back to Poor at around 32-33 on Samsung gear having been 40 the week before with Huawei/Honor... I also tested alternative way of measuring my Vo2Max during workout - inclusive of warm up walks which take about 5 minutes on each end of running, and excluding them (just the running part) and the measurements were almost identical. This makes no sense and I am very disappointed with the quality of these features. There is no way in my current training capacity and condition and increased stamina I am bang in the middle of 'poor' band for my age/weight etc.

Same issue with my Watch 7 bought end of sept. 2024 and connected to my S22 Ultra

VO2 going down from 43,3 Oct 1st. till now 40,8 (Dec 7th) with 0,1 per day more or less even though my form and results actually are getting better. Wonder why....?? Only change in condition is the wheather there is going from higher temperature to lower (range approx 16 -> 5 degree celsius)

I have been noticing this steady decline from 39 to 32 daily, and strangely, it has started climbing steadily day by day, and it has come to 33.8 when I write this. I didn't notice any correlation with my apparent efficiency.
