Google Maps appearance on Watch 6

Is it possible to change the appearance of Google maps on the watch? By default it's set to dark mode and I can't find a way of changing it.

I only see these settings, I assume it is linked to the mobile app settings.

hi, my watch is showing that screen above as it is .. it is now launching or showing search bar anyone knows answer please?
