Why does the battery on my gear fit only last 2 days if I'm lucky love the watch but feel I do nothing but charge it up all the time. Don't have it connected to my phone and loads of stuff running in the back ground so don't know why

Maybe try a reset @Ahales and check if any pending software update is waiting.
If this continues then a Samsung Service Centre or Samsung Experience Store will be able to help.

Banks there are no software updates will try a reset and see what happens

I've rest my gear fit but nothing has changed batter only lasts 2 days. Got the watch as a present so don't know what to do as can't take it back to shop it was bought as don't know and don't have any proof of purchase
@Ahales: Are you able to get one of the Samsung Support Centres to have it checked out?
