Anyone else noticed how what's app no longer works on galaxy watch 5 - any solutions, have tried uninstall and reinstall but no good

Do you mean with the Whatsapp Watch app installed, if so I gave up with it for this reason and reverted back to the mobile mirroring to the watch.

I find WhatsApp dodgy linking is problematic, especially across multiple devices, tablet, laptop, portal ...

Go into notifications on watch wearable app and turn on WhatsApp

Hi, have you checked the notification settings for WhatsApp in the wearable settings. It should be something like this

Also worth checking that the two apps are linked. This is done in the phone app under 3 dots menu, linked devices.
