Galaxy watch 5 emails

Hi receiving email notifications on watch but no emails appearing in my in box on phone. Only do when l switch off/on phone/watch but then only two or three appear and then nothing until l switch off/on again. Phone receives approx 10 emails in an hour. In the last 24 hours watch inbox showing only 2. How do l fix this?

What app you using for your emails? Samsung email? Outlook?

Wow, that's a lot of emails, bet most of them is spam! I'm lucky to get more 5 per normally the spam ones I do get goes into separate folder.
