Galaxy Watch 4 Notifications - Why cant they dismiss automatically?

I don't understand why, when I get a notification on my watch it has to remain there till I swipe it away or press the top button. Why cant the watch show you a notification for 5 seconds and then disappear and show the time again, or, if the watch is not set to always-on display, have the notification disappear after 1 or 2 views of the watch face?

This is the most annoying thing. Please change this. I'm trying so hard to like this watch. If it wasn't for the LTE function, I would just wear my TicWatch Pro Ultra all the time. It is so much more intuitive.

I have the Galaxy Watch 4 LTE 44mm version.

I presume your on o2? If so your sim is not set up correctly, nothing wrong your end, but if you are on o2 I'd go in store and ask them to sort it
