I keep getting notifications that my watch isn't backed up. There doesn't seem to be any way to start a backup, and searching help only tells you that Smart Switch will back it up automatically. It clearly isn't doing so, so how do I force a backup?

I need an answer for this as well. Apparently Samsung removed the option to manually back up your watch, and like yours, the automatic backups aren't working.

@Ray42 @louiseaphs: Please confirm the model number of your watch, and I will look into this further for you.

It's a Galaxy Watch 4 Classic.

@Ray42: In order to back up your Galaxy Watch4 Classic data, you will need to connect the watch to a mobile device via the Galaxy Wearable app. With the connection established, please open the Wearable app and head to Watch settings > Accounts and backup, then choose from Samsung Cloud or Smart Switch as your backup option.

As I said in my original post, my watch is already set to use Smart Switch but it's not working. Seems to be a common problem since the last update.

I have Galaxy Watch 5 (SC6F) with same problem. On the settong you referred to there is no choice between Samsung Cloud and SmartSwitch. There is only Samsung Cloud with a slider to enable or disable saving backup to cloud.

Same here. All the online help articles show menu options that don't exist in the latest app.

OK, now I'm confused! Without me changing anything on my watch or my phone, at 2:18 this morning my watch was backed up...no idea what's happened. Any suggestions?
