Galaxy Watch 4 No Facebook Messenger Notifications, Seriously?

I bought this ***** called Galaxy Watch 4, because I thought if it has android then my regular apps will work on it. Just to realize that basically a 30 EUR Chinese noname fitness band gives you more than this useless pieces of *****. Because the 30 EUR chinese noname fitness band usually shows your notifications from Facebook messenger, Signal, Instagram, but this sophisticated piece of Samsung technology is apparently incapable of doing that.

Does someone have any idea if there is any way to get your Facebook messenger or Signal notifications on it? Or I will return it and get the 30 EUR Chinese fitness band, because that seems smarter than this thing.

I ended up going to my tattoo guy and done a removal on that section where the watch sits, after 1 session it's working as it should, I'm guessing the ink is lighter under the skin now, I will do 1 more session of it

How do I download messenger on my way??.it keeps saying my watch is not compatible..I get fb messages but dnt have an option to reply or even view the message.. please help me if you can..

Holy *****, you shouldn't even own one if you don't know how to work the ***** thing, just stick to Apple, there simple and everything is all the same and nothing will ever change for them so go get the new iWatch piece of $hi+, now if you aren't a complete computer, phone, or simple a$$ watch illiterate then just go to the Galaxy wearable app on your phone and just go to the notifications and just enable messenger to allow the app to send you the stupid notifications and the messages which you can respond to so stop being a cry baby and do your homework, if I need to figure something out I just look it TF up, you can actually type in on Google, how to wipe your butt amd there's a video and a whole guide to wiping your butt, all you had to do was go to Google and type in how do I add messenger to my galaxy watch 4 amd it comes right up and tells you e everything, don't come on here acting like the watch sucks cuz your a dumb@$$, I have the watch 2, 3, and 4 and they are the shiznit, it's like leaving a bad review for something you bought and have no idea what your doing because you didn't read the instructions and now the dang thing is broke, be smart, work smarter not harder and if you knew tech then it's common sense to people that are tech savy, ill just call it that and be done with it, use your cerebellum properly and you might just get the hang of a dang smart watch and those cheap garbage Chinese made watches don't have $h!+ on any of the Galaxy watches, I've tried a dozen of the top of the line ones and they are Garbino, they don't even let you message back and there's no app for them on your phone so it's just Bluetooth paired with no app, have fun with that my guy, and they usually $hi+ the bed after a month, now can you remember the app on your phone that is called Samsung Wearable or is that to savy for ya lol, dude im actually just busting your stones by the way, we all have our pros and cons, maybe you can tear a fishing boat apart and repair them and install cool stuff on them idk and your watch you might not be so tech savvy with but I may not be good at a boat but I can work a watch like a Chinese stripper at the sum dum ho club hahahaha, live laugh and love my man, just had to work ya up to the grand finale of I just busted your balls and I honestly meant no harm, God Bless and I hope you figured that watch out

I am having the same trouble. I will get a notification every once in awhile if ever. I have everything turned on that should be turned on

And here we are in April of 2023 and you still can't use Facebook Messenger on your watch without your phone nearby.

That's irrelevant since you can literally buy the Galaxy watch 5 with LTE means you don't have to have your phone with you which means you wouldn't get any Facebook messages because your watch isn't near your phone that's a joke.

It's funny how so many of you are missing the point the Galaxy watch 5 and 4 but specifically the five is capable of lasting for days without being charged it has LTE built into it for a cellular signal you shouldn't have to be near your phone to get messages from Facebook it's as simple as installing the app but they refuse to release the app for the watch so you have to have your phone are you understanding now? So you can't just leave the house with your watch on that can do everything except for receive Facebook messages unless it's near your phone hopefully this is clear enough for the people who are saying oh all you got to do is turn on notifications. that's not what we're talking about.

That's not what people are talking about they're talking about the fact that you can walk around anywhere with your watch if you have the LTE version that gets a wireless signal and you cannot use Facebook at all in any way with just your watch so you could walk around all day and make phone calls text messages but you can't use messenger without being near your phone that is literally defeating the purpose.
